Lisa Clemson of Stafford TCP is thrilled with the results of the #WDYT (What do you think?) campaign. Her high street has seen an increase in footfall of up to 22%, week on week.
“The key thing has got to be the increase in footfall. For the past 15 weeks our footfall has increased week after week after week. Which in this challenging climate has been amazing.”
Local retailers, including FunkyWunkyDooDah, Hobbycaft, and Dourish Day are all advocates of the campaign claiming “It’s been amazing” and “The use of social media within the business has massively increased.”
Stafford is currently ranked 23rd on the Digital Influence Index, with their ranking increasing week on week thanks to their fantastic efforts.
Cities like Stafford, who measure their footfall using footfall counters, are able to directly link an increase in footfall to their increase in social media activity, and their rising digital influence index ranking.
