Tewkesbury is the most improved town in the UK from over 1300 towns and cities for its Digital Influence. This month it has risen 11 places in the Digital Influence Index and is now ranked 51. Dubbed the Silicon Valley of the South West, Tewkesbury has been a significant contributor to this status along with Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud.
- According to the Retailer index, Tewkesbury’s top performing retailers using social media to reach out to customers include The Roses Theatre, The Bell, Tewkesbury Mustard, Theoc House and Jessop House.

- Small Business Saturday took place on the 2nd December and free parking was made available across town. This was an opportunity for many of the town’s independent retailers to get involved using social media. Helping spread the word were Engall Castle, Kevins Butchers, Tewkesbury Tourist Information Office and Tewkesbury Cookshop.
