Star Anise reaches over 10,000 people using #WDYT

Star Anise, located in Stroud, offer a changing menu of seasonal, fresh and innovative food including sourdough breads, pastries and cakes made daily on the premises. They use organic ingredients wherever possible and endeavour to source from local businesses.

Looking to bring in new customers to their cafe and increase social followings, Star Anise teamed up with #WDYT to offer a delicious lunch for two.

Using the @Stroud_WDYT feed which showcases Stroud’s local businesses, we asked followers to RT & follow @Staranisecafe for a chance to win – the competition received over 10.2% increase in  twitter followers, 259 reactions on facebook and a 4.4% increase in followers on instagram.
